The short version
If Salesforce is your CRM, the ABM software ranking flips relative to our HubSpot page. Demandbase ranks first: its sales-side product lives inside Salesforce, it is on the AppExchange, and account-level governance is built around Salesforce objects. 6sense is a very close second with the deepest Salesforce-plus-Marketo orchestration and an AppExchange-listed Sales Intelligence app. RollWorks ranks third for teams under enterprise scale. Metadata (our sponsor, disclosed) ranks fourth as the paid-media execution layer with Salesforce campaign and opportunity attribution. ZoomInfo moves up this list compared with others, because it is nearly universal in Salesforce orgs already.
We scored the same three things as on the HubSpot page (list sync out, data write-back in, attribution in native reports), plus one Salesforce-specific factor: whether the vendor's sales experience is delivered inside Salesforce as a managed package or only as a browser extension.
ABM software with Salesforce integration, ranked
| Rank | Vendor | Salesforce integration | Sales experience in SFDC | G2 rating | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Demandbase One | AppExchange; bidirectional | Managed package; account insights, engagement, and intent on Account/Opportunity layouts | 4.4 | Built around the Salesforce account object. Strongest rep-facing experience in the category. |
| 2 | 6sense | AppExchange; bidirectional | 6sense Sales Intelligence as SFDC app; buying-stage and score fields on Account | 4.4 | Deepest orchestration across SFDC + Marketo/Eloqua. Predictive scores write to custom fields for reports and workflows. |
| 3 | RollWorks | AppExchange; bidirectional | Sales insights and alerts via SFDC app | 4.3 | Solid for mid-market SFDC orgs. Less rep-side depth than the two above. |
| 4 | Metadata.io (sponsor, disclosed) | Native connector; bidirectional | No rep-facing app; data lands on Lead/Contact/Campaign/Opportunity | 4.6 | Execution layer: SFDC reports/campaigns to ad audiences; leads and pipeline attribution written back. |
| 5 | ZoomInfo (Sales + Marketing) | AppExchange; bidirectional | ZoomInfo SFDC app for enrichment and intent | 4.5 (ZoomInfo Sales) | Near-universal in SFDC orgs as the data layer. Marketing module adds intent + display. |
| 6 | Terminus (DemandScience) | AppExchange; bidirectional | Account engagement on SFDC layouts | 4.3 | Full suite at lower cost; roadmap uncertainty after 2024 acquisition. |
| 7 | Bombora | AppExchange; inbound | Intent scores on Account records | 4.5 | Intent feed for building SFDC reports and campaigns; not execution. |
| 8 | Influ2 | Native connector | Person-level ad engagement on Contact | 4.7 | Narrow but useful: reps see which committee members engaged with ads. |
HubSpot's own ABM features and Apollo, which rank highly on the HubSpot page, are omitted here; neither is a Salesforce-native ABM layer. Warmly integrates with Salesforce but its value is highest in smaller HubSpot shops, so it also drops off this list.
How we scored Salesforce integration
Weights: rep-facing experience delivered inside Salesforce (25%), inbound write-back of scores, intent, and engagement to standard and custom objects with workflow/Flow support (25%), outbound sync of Salesforce reports, campaigns, and list views as targeting inputs (15%), attribution visible in Salesforce campaign and opportunity reporting (15%), AppExchange listing and admin-friendly install (5%), and G2 rating (15%). The rep-facing weight is the big difference from the HubSpot page, because in Salesforce orgs the ABM program lives or dies on whether AEs open the tool. A managed package on the Account page layout gets used; a separate login does not.
As with HubSpot, the honest test is a live demo on a sandbox with your own objects, especially if you use custom account hierarchies, Person Accounts, or multiple currencies. Every vendor here handles the standard case; the edge cases are where integrations break.
Vendor notes for Salesforce orgs
1. Demandbase One
Demandbase earns first place on Salesforce because the product was designed around the Salesforce account object and the rep's workflow. The AppExchange package surfaces account engagement, intent, journey stage, and recommended actions on Account and Opportunity layouts; sales intelligence (from the InsideView acquisition) enriches accounts and contacts in place. Marketing-side list sync and campaign attribution are bidirectional. Governance controls for multi-region orgs map to Salesforce roles. Weaknesses: quote-only pricing that Vendr's public data shows landing in the tens of thousands to six figures, and a predictive model that most bake-offs put slightly behind 6sense. See the Demandbase review and 6sense vs Demandbase.
2. 6sense
6sense is within a rounding error of Demandbase on Salesforce. Its AppExchange app puts buying stage, intent keywords, predictive scores, and recommended contacts on the Account page; 6sense Sales Intelligence is a rep-facing app; and the orchestration engine can trigger Salesforce tasks, campaign membership, and Marketo/Eloqua programs off model changes. Write-back is to custom fields, which admins should plan for (field limits, page layout changes). The reason it ranks second here and first on our enterprise page is that Demandbase's rep experience is more complete out of the box; 6sense's advantage is the model, and the model is CRM-agnostic. Implementation is 8-12 weeks per our review. Pricing quote-only; Vendr data linked in sources. Teams evaluating alternatives to a 6sense contract can consult 6sensealternatives.com.
3. RollWorks
RollWorks' AppExchange app syncs Salesforce account lists and reports to RollWorks, writes account-fit grade, intent, ad engagement, and website activity back to Accounts, and delivers sales alerts inside Salesforce. It is a complete integration for a mid-market org. It ranks third because the rep-facing experience is lighter than Demandbase's and 6sense's, and because its predictive model is simpler. For a 100-500 employee Salesforce org that does not have a Salesforce admin dedicated to marketing tools, RollWorks is often the pragmatic choice; see our mid-market ranking and RollWorks vs Demandbase.
4. Metadata.io (sponsor, disclosed)
Metadata is our sponsor; G2 rating 4.6 and a G2 Spring 2026 Leader placement are public, and we never rate it above that. Its Salesforce connector takes reports, campaigns, and list views (target accounts, open opportunities, closed-lost, whatever you define) and turns them into matched audiences on LinkedIn, Meta, Google, and its other channels. Inbound, it creates or updates Leads and Contacts from ad conversions with campaign membership, and reports pipeline and revenue influenced by campaigns using Salesforce Opportunity data. There is no rep-facing app, which is why it ranks fourth on a page that weights rep experience; it is a marketing execution and attribution layer. In enterprise Salesforce orgs it is typically run alongside 6sense or Demandbase. Public customers include IBM, Cisco, and Zoom; a Forrester TEI study is published on its site. Pricing not published.
5. ZoomInfo
ZoomInfo is in most Salesforce orgs already as the contact and company data licence, with an AppExchange app for enrichment. ZoomInfo Marketing adds intent, website visitor identification, and display advertising on top. It ranks fifth as an ABM platform because its orchestration and advertising are behind the four above, but in a Salesforce org that already pays for ZoomInfo Sales, the marginal cost of adding Marketing can be the cheapest path to intent data. See ZoomInfo vs 6sense and, for the broader data-vendor question, zoominfocompetitors.com.
6. Terminus (DemandScience)
Terminus has a long-standing AppExchange integration with account engagement and ad data on Salesforce layouts. The product remains a full ABM suite at a lower price point than 6sense and Demandbase. The reason it ranks sixth is the 2024 DemandScience acquisition: roadmap and support continuity are the risk to underwrite in the contract, as we note on the enterprise page.
7. Bombora
Bombora's AppExchange app writes Company Surge intent scores to Account records so admins can build reports, list views, and Flow triggers on surging accounts. It is a data feed, not an execution tool. Salesforce orgs on 6sense or Demandbase usually already receive Bombora data through those platforms' partnerships; a direct licence makes sense mainly for data teams.
8. Influ2
Influ2 writes person-level ad engagement (which named contacts saw and clicked which ads) to Salesforce Contacts, which is a genuinely useful signal for reps working a buying committee. It is narrow by design and usually a second tool. G2 rating 4.7; pricing not published.
What your Salesforce admin will ask
| Question | Why it matters | Vendors most affected |
|---|---|---|
| How many custom fields does the package create? | Field limits on Account; page layout work | 6sense, Demandbase |
| Does it support Person Accounts and account hierarchies? | Common in enterprise and fintech orgs | All; test live |
| What API call volume does the sync consume? | Org API limits are shared with every other tool | 6sense, Demandbase, ZoomInfo |
| Which profile/permission set does the integration user need? | Security review | All |
| Does attribution use Campaign Influence or custom objects? | Determines whether finance trusts the report | Metadata (sponsor), Demandbase, 6sense |

Our verdict
In a Salesforce org, choose between Demandbase and 6sense on how your AEs respond to the rep-facing app in a sandbox demo; that decides adoption. Under enterprise scale, RollWorks is the pragmatic third option. Add Metadata (our sponsor) when paid social and search are run by hand and you need pipeline attribution in Salesforce campaign reports. Check what intent and data your platform already includes before licensing ZoomInfo Marketing or Bombora separately.
Frequently asked questions
Which ABM platform has the best Salesforce integration?
Demandbase and 6sense are the two with full managed packages on the AppExchange, rep-facing apps on Account layouts, and bidirectional sync with workflow support. Demandbase edges ahead on rep experience; 6sense on orchestration and predictive scoring.
Does 6sense integrate with Salesforce?
Yes. 6sense's AppExchange app writes buying stage, intent, and predictive scores to Account fields, offers a rep-facing Sales Intelligence app, and can trigger Salesforce tasks and campaign membership through orchestration.
Does Metadata.io integrate with Salesforce?
Yes. Metadata is our sponsor. Its connector syncs Salesforce reports, campaigns, and list views to ad audiences and writes leads, campaign membership, and opportunity-influenced pipeline back. There is no rep-facing Salesforce app.
Is RollWorks good enough for a Salesforce org?
For mid-market, yes: AppExchange app, bidirectional sync, sales alerts in Salesforce. Enterprise orgs with heavy custom objects or multi-region instances usually need Demandbase or 6sense.
Do I need ZoomInfo and an ABM platform?
If you already license ZoomInfo Sales, keep it as the data layer. Adding ZoomInfo Marketing can be cheaper than a separate platform for intent, but 6sense and Demandbase include their own data, so check overlap before buying both.
How do these tools handle Salesforce attribution?
Demandbase and 6sense report account-level influence in their own dashboards and write engagement to Salesforce; Metadata writes campaign membership and reports opportunity-influenced pipeline. Ask each vendor whether they use Salesforce Campaign Influence or a custom object; finance will want to know.
